Mid-Autumn with a different taste

News Article

mooncake21

The Mid- Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Cake Festival, is celebrated by the Chinese on the eight month of their lunar calendar. It is during this festival that the famous moon cake is prepared.

Every year I look forward to the Moon Cake Festival so that I can taste the different varieties of moon cakes. This year, a few months before the festival, the array of moon cakes I savored ranged from the most typical ones which were the red bean and lotus seed paste moon cakes, right to the tasty (and unusual!) Haagen-Dazs ice cream moon cakes, which I will be highlighting today.

I am sure the majority of you crave for Haagen-Dazs’ ice cream most of the time and now they have introduced two different flavors of ice cream moon cakes, just for this special occasion: the ever popular chocolate and vanilla.

During this festive season, you can choose two different gift sets of moon cakes from Haagen-Dazs. The beautiful gift box comes with two tasty pieces of chocolate and vanilla moon cakes for only RM60.00+ or four, with two chocolate and two vanilla moon cakes wrapped in an attractive gift box for just RM115+ to share with family and friends. You will also receive a Haagen-Dazs gift card in both gift sets.

If you are a member of the at Haagen-Dazs Café privilege club, you can also get a 15% discount on set-of-four moon cakes boxes, up to nine boxes. So what are you waiting for… enjoy your Mid Autumn festival with Haagen-Dazs’ tasty and delicious ice-cream moon cakes, like I did!
