"Light UP Lives Charity"
STOMP! Make a Difference Charity Concert was aimed at raising funds for the Women’s Aid Organization, organized by students from the Social Sciences and Liberal Arts Society (SSLA). The event which was held in the Auditorium at UCSI University attracted more than 150 people to join in the cause.

MC for the night, Benji, started the charity concert with a meaningful gesture by inviting the crowd to join him in stomping the floor, as a significant sign to say no to violence and abuse against women, and that, ‘Enough is enough’.
Local artists such as Rendra Zawawi, Vertical Universal, Rashdan Harith, Reza Salleh, Halfway Kings, Lenny Lysandra and Gideon were among the many artistes making the concert a success.
Dance routines from the Urban Groove Dance Network and Rhythm Music Dance Studio also brought the charity concert alive. Urban Groove Dance Network showed the crowd that age is not a limit in supporting the charity concert by having one of their youngest dancers, a 6 years old girl to perform along side with them.

Matthew Marian, the lead singer of Vertical Universal performed the song titled “Black or White” popularized by the late Pop King, Michael Jackson as a reminder to those present that night that ALL women, both black and white should be protected from violence and abuse.
The atmosphere of the charity continued to hype up as the crowd cheered for popular local singer; Reza Salleh, who got the crowd to dance along while he rendered his song, For Her, Smoke City, and others.

Ahmad Nahri, an independent singer, who is also a student at UCSI University set an example in supporting the main aim of the concert, by calling his fiancée and saying “I Love You” to her on stage. Ahmad sung the song “More Than Words” with Benji holding Ahman’s hand phone beside him throughout the whole song.
The concert was truly a meaningful one, as men and women, student and children, both young and old from different races and backgrounds gathered in union to support the charity event.
